A panty is a pair of panties, often a tight bra or garter belt, often with a crotch-less neckline and straps.

    You’ll see it in magazines, movies, TV shows and on websites like Amazon, but it’s not a commonly worn item in real life.

    “There’s nothing about this that you can’t do yourself,” said Heather Davenport, a marketing professor at the University of North Carolina.

    But what do you do with them?

    Davenports offers up her own tips on how to get the most out of them, and you can learn a lot about your body and your desires from her.

    1.

    Get creative with the colors.

    In her book, “Sexy Panty,” Davenpool suggests that a panty should be worn in three colors: red, blue and pink.

    That way, you can easily tell if it’s for you, her, someone you know or anyone else.

    “The colors are all about you,” she said.

    “It’s not about how you look.”

    You can also wear different colors to match your skin tone, and make your own, depending on what you want to achieve.

    “Some people like purple, some people like black,” she suggested.

    “Whatever your taste, it’s okay to wear something pink, red, or black.”

    Get a different size.

    “Panties don’t have to be too big,” said Daven.

    “I’ve found that a smaller size works for me, because it gives you more room to breathe and get my panties wet.”

    Dress for the occasion.

    If you don’t want to take off your panties, make sure you wear a bra and panty hose, which give you more coverage, she said, and have a garterbelt, or some kind of belt, to help you tie them off.

    Daven has also found that bras and panties work better for her than they do for her husband, so he can wear a small bra while she puts on a nice little outfit.

    Choose your underwear size.

    A few years ago, she started using a scale that allowed her to see how big or small her panties are, Davens said.

    Now she’s using the “small” scale to figure out if her underwear is big enough for her.

    “If they’re small, then I like them,” she explained.

    “But if they’re too big, then my husband can’t wear them.”

    Buy your own.

    If your pantyhose aren’t made to be worn on a regular basis, she suggested ordering ones that come in sizes from a cup to a half-cup.

    “A quarter-cup is the size I usually wear,” she noted.

    “You don’t really need a bra, and the other size is really nice.

    So I get my size from there.”

    Get some stretchy stockings.

    “They give you that extra support, but they also allow you to have some room,” she added.

    She also recommends buying a pair with the elastic bands attached to them.

    “Then you can go to the gym and wear a pair, or just walk around and do things like sit in a chair and sit on a bench and stuff like that,” she offered.

    Use your imagination.

    “Just make a little experiment,” she advised.

    “When you’re not wearing your panties, just imagine what you could wear.

    I think the best thing you can do is to just imagine how you’d like to dress.

    If it’s really nice, you could go all over the place with your panties and stuff.”

    Make your own stocking stuffers.

    “Stockings don’t fit all that well in the waistband of your pants, so I just use my stocking stuffer to make them fit better,” she encouraged.

    “Sometimes you’ll want to go a little higher than the panty and just put a little bit of fabric over it.

    If that works for you as well, you should try that too.”

    9.

    Play around with your pantie size.

    You might want to add a little more fabric to the top of your pantry if it can accommodate your pant size, Davons suggested.

    She’s even created her own panty hanger so you can put your pantys under the covers and then wear them whenever you want.

    “Now you can just throw your pantey on the bed, put it under the blanket, whatever it is that you want,” she pointed out.

    10.

    Be bold with your preferences.

    “People are always going to be in the dark about what they want,” said Gail Daven, a licensed personal trainer who specializes in women’s health and fitness.

    “Do what you love.”
