— The makers of washing machines will no longer have to worry about people thinking they are looking at a picture of a toilet seat, a major milestone for a new kind of underwear.
The company, Lure-o-Ware, will be the first to use the term “panty” as a term for its products, which will not include any kind of squeaking sound.
For the first time, a product company has said “panties” as an adjective rather than a noun, according to a release Thursday.
Lure-O-Ware will use the word in its product catalog and website.
“We’re going to be the only company in the world who uses the term, and the only product company who will be able to use that term in its marketing and marketing materials,” said Kevin Gartenberg, chief marketing officer.
Lureo-Oware, which sells the company’s disposable diapers, has been the target of a campaign by consumer groups concerned about odor.
Some people say they can smell the smell of diapers after putting them in the dishwasher.
Last year, Luringo-o said it had a 100% satisfaction rate with its customers.
